Tirta is not just a spa, it's also a nice place to take pictures... which we did after our massage.
A Quaint Bookstore Along Station 2 (or 3?)
I came across a quaint bookshop during my last stay at Boracay. Tucked in one of the many alleys that line the shore of Boracay, the bookstore is a bit difficult to find (it's like looking for Real Coffee: you know where it is but you always miss it when you want to go there). Who would've thought you could find something like this in a vacation destination where all you plan to do is bum and drink?
I found the store interesting because they have books from different countries: Spain, Germany, and I'm pretty sure I saw some from Poland or Netherlands but there's no way I can confirm from just reading the titles (it's unfortunate of me that I don't know any language but English and Filipino). They also trade books. I didn't know how it works but the nice lady manning the stall said each book you trade entitles you to a certain amount that you can use to buy another book. Cool!
Their selection ranges from the classics to very interesting novels you can confuse as a pocket book.
I Have A Lot To Post
OK... So I've been a little lazy blogging. But to be honest, I really didn't have much time to write. It's been tough trying to conjure energy to work when you're too lazy lying in bed watching TV. Or when you're online and you find something interesting and you're too stuck at it that you care less about doing anything else. I can keep going and enumerate what other excuses I can make. But (there's a BUT), I'll really try to change this year.
And since I haven't been posting a lot, I've accumulated a lot of posts that I'll be putting up soon and so most of the posts are from last year. Anyway... Happy New Year to all and cheers to another year of fun things to do!!!
Hibernation
Cafe Xocolat
The ambiance is very homey, perfect for a laid back, destressing mood. You should also check out their other shop in Katipunan. It's called Casa Xocolat (stress on the word Casa). It's like their ultimate homey-feel coffe shop, like a bigger and better version of their humble shop in Eastwood. When I go there, I feel like reminiscing my old childhood where growing up, I would just lay my feet to the seat and feel the cozy warmth of home (wake up!! you're day dreaming!!!)
I also love, their very yummy Lasagna... Meaty... Tasty... (you can imagine me now, drooling...)
Joan's Birthday Treat
Thanks to ms Joan and Happy Birthday!!! I honestly was full from 1PM ‘til 6PM; So full that I didn't think twice not eating our left over extreme chocolate ice cream cake. Kulang na lang ang Beer!
My First Post
I've been always inspired to write my own blog but I never had the opportunity to do so. I remember starting one though, but never got to follow through.
I know, it may be hard to maintain this site but I will try and maybe, just maybe, I'll get better at writing and get the hang of doing this.
See more of me and my adventures right here!!!
