I've set my mind on eating dinner at Greenhills but by the time I decided to have dinner, I had to re-think my decision. I didn't want to eat alone looking like a loser/loner and, anyway, I already ate before I left home and wasn't really hungry. So, I easily decided to just read a book to pass time while I wait 'til nine pm arrives.
My choices were Starbucks and Coffee Bean. I got old of hanging at Starbucks and Coffee Bean just feels boring when you're alone, so I decided to hang at Bizu instead.
I haven't tried the meals at Bizu just because their pastries looked very enticing and so I never felt it was appropriate to go there and not try their cakes. For me, at Bizu, it was always coffee and cakes. I've always ordered Latte and that's something I had to drink, but my dillema were the treats.
Not far from the entrance was a whole shelf of truffles. They were cute but never seemed very eye-catchy (maybe that's the reason why I never tried them before). I very eagerly asked the waiter what would be the best choices and had Caramella, Rose Champaigne, Hazelnut and Spearmint.
Each was like a surprise waiting in chocolate hides. They were like the usual truffles but I liked Caramella the most. I just liked how the very smooth caramel sits in the center and flows with in every bite (be ready with a tissue, though, as I made a mess trying to take things slow and have 2 bites of each truffle).
I loved my stay at Bizu though it seemed very awkward trying to chill while everyone else were eating dinner. Nonetheless, reading a book at Bizu is just another way of hanging outside the usual coffee shops.
